The ENCOMPASS® DVIR application provides a comprehensive solution for managing vehicle maintenance and inspections, offering the flexibility to tailor inspection criteria to suit a fleet's distinct vehicle types. The application facilitates the setup and review of pre- and post-trip inspection records in a user-friendly interface, along with a time-tracking feature for non-regulated drivers to monitor on and off-duty hours. Through seamless submission of inspection and time records to the back office, the application enhances management oversight of completed inspections and necessary maintenance tasks.

With no need for extra hardware, this application is well-suited for mixed fleets, those utilizing specialized equipment, and non-regulated drivers.

How It Works: Required DOT (§396.11) and company-specific pre- and post-trip inspection data are efficiently captured using the ENCOMPASS® DVIR app without additional hardware. The recorded inspection information is then transmitted via cellular connection to the J. J. Keller® Encompass back office, streamlining the identification of defects that require correction certification and units needing service. This process aids in reducing downtime, enhancing vehicle utilization, and optimizing unit management. Furthermore, the time-tracking feature enables drivers to input hours through a basic clock in/out function, supporting efficient reporting.

Inspection results are presented in an easy-to-review format, simplifying defect management.</li>
 <li>Timesheet Functionality: Enhance reporting accuracy by allowing drivers to log their hours throughout the day, editing entries for previous dates when necessary.</li>
